Old maple at ceiling height. The Sortland is 100cm wide and 198cm tall in reclaimed maple — pale, fine-grained, and warm in a different way to elm. Maple's grain is quieter, more consistent, which makes this a bookcase that recedes slightly into the room rather than demanding attention. The old material brings depth and history to what would otherwise be an understated piece. A serious bookcase that knows not to shout.
- Old Maple Wood: Reclaimed maple with fine, consistent grain and the pale warmth that aged maple develops.
- 198cm Height: Near-ceiling format for maximum vertical storage in the classic 100cm bookcase width.
- Quiet Presence: Maple's fine grain creates a bookcase that integrates into a room rather than competing with it.
