Almost two metres tall in elm. The Ålesund Bookcase takes open shelving seriously — at 198cm high and 100cm wide, it gives you real vertical storage that doesn't apologise for taking up wall space. Elm grain at this scale has something to say: the figure runs the full height, and the warmth of the wood keeps the piece from feeling cold despite the library proportions. For rooms that need books on display, not hidden.
- Near-Ceiling Height: At 198cm, it uses vertical space properly — the way a serious bookcase should.
- Elm Wood: Warm, characterful grain that reads beautifully at this scale — the more height, the more wood character on display.
- 100cm Width: Wide enough for a real book collection, multiple rows, and styled objects between shelves.
